What Do Our Service Users Think Of Us?
As a CQC Registered Supported Living provider, we aim to assist our service users to live a life that is healthy, happy and free from harm. We pride ourselves in providing person-centered care so each service user has their own individual care plan which documents their personal goals and any decisions that they make about their care and well-being.
As a care provider, it’s essential that we ask our service users for feedback because we want them to be involved in the way that we deliver their care. We keep them involved and have an open-door policy so that they can speak to us about any aspect of the service and their care.
Within Prosperity Housing Group, we have an inclusive, community spirit and involve service users in activities within and outside their home. This is beneficial for the staff as well as the service users. The staff has increased satisfaction in their work because they take the service users to do different outings that they request. The staff are more confident in delivering what the service users want. This makes their role as support workers fun and satisfying.
We asked our service users how they felt about our service and how we could improve.
Here is one of the responses we received from our service user in her own words;
I like living here, I like the atmosphere.
I like the people I lives with, gets on well with them
I think the staff are really good at their job and are very good with
residents.
Staff are handling her conditions well.
I like that staff are doing activities with us and encourage us.
I have learnt importance of being active and learnt a lot about myself.
I have developed skills which allow me to now listen to staff and get
along better with them.
